Terms and conditions
These terms set out how the online shop at zentea.shop works and how distance sales contracts are concluded. The contract is governed by Polish law.
§ 1. Seller
The seller is Eldar Kurseitov, running a business at aleja Grunwaldzka 69, 80-241 Gdańsk, Poland, VAT ID (NIP) 5842794144.
Contact: zentea.gdansk@gmail.com, phone +48 799 059 486. The physical shop is open Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00.
§ 2. Definitions
- Shop — the online shop at zentea.shop.
- Buyer — a person placing an order in the Shop.
- Consumer — a natural person entering into a contract not directly connected with their business or professional activity, and also a sole trader for whom the contract is not of a professional nature.
- Goods — loose tea weighed to order, and ceramics and accessories.
§ 3. Technical requirements
You need a device with internet access, a browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and a working email account. We charge nothing for using the Shop itself; data transmission costs follow from your agreement with your internet provider.
§ 4. Placing orders
Orders can be placed at any time. You add Goods to the basket, choose delivery and payment, and confirm with the button marked as an order with an obligation to pay.
Loose tea is sold by weight. The price shown next to the Goods is per gram and you choose the amount when ordering. The minimum is 10 grams. The total for the chosen amount is shown before the Goods are added to the basket.
The sales contract is concluded when the Seller confirms acceptance of the order by email to the address given by the Buyer.
Registering an account is not required in order to place an order. An account can be deleted at any time by writing to the Seller’s email address.
§ 5. Prices and payment
All prices are in Polish złoty and are final prices. This also applies to the English and Russian versions of the Shop — settlement always takes place in złoty.
Available payment methods:
- online payments — BLIK, Visa and Mastercard cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and fast transfers — handled by the payment operator Autopay S.A., based in Sopot;
- bank transfer to the Seller’s account — transfer details are provided after the order is placed;
- cash — on personal collection at the shop or on delivery, where this option is available at checkout.
Orders paid online are processed once the operator confirms the payment, and orders paid by transfer — once the payment has been credited.
§ 6. Delivery
The shipping cost within Poland depends on the carrier’s price list and is shown at checkout. We also ship to European Union countries via DPD courier. Personal collection at the shop address during opening hours is available.
Details are on the Delivery and pickup page.
§ 7. Right of withdrawal
A Consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of taking possession of the Goods, without giving a reason.
This right does not apply in the cases listed in Article 38(1) of the Consumer Rights Act, in particular where the goods are made to the consumer’s specification, are liable to deteriorate rapidly, or are supplied sealed and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons once opened. This covers tea weighed to order and any food product whose packaging has been opened.
The right of withdrawal likewise does not apply to tea ceremony bookings — services related to leisure and events with a specified date of performance (Art. 38(1)(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). However, up to 24 hours before the ceremony the Client may reschedule the booking to any other available date free of charge — a message to @zentea.gdansk on Instagram or a call to +48 799 059 486 is enough. Cancellation without rescheduling, as well as failure to attend, does not entitle the Client to a refund. If the ceremony is cancelled by the Seller, the Client receives, at their choice, a full refund or a booking for another date.
Full rules, including how to submit the statement and how costs are settled, are on the Returns and complaints page.
§ 8. Complaints
The Seller is liable for conformity of the Goods with the contract for two years from delivery, on the terms set out in the Consumer Rights Act.
Complaints can be sent to zentea.gdansk@gmail.com or in writing to the Seller’s address. We handle complaints within 14 days of receipt.
§ 9. Out-of-court dispute resolution
A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including the assistance of a local consumer ombudsman in Poland, the regional Trade Inspection inspector, and the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Use of these mechanisms is voluntary.
§ 10. Personal data
The Seller is the controller of Buyers’ personal data. Processing is described in the Privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie policy.
§ 11. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014.
The Seller may amend these terms for important reasons, in particular a change in legislation or in how the Shop operates. Orders placed before an amendment are governed by the terms in force when the order was placed.
